Product & pricing
Is Datum really free?
Yes. Practice, Coach, voice, and your proof workspace are included free on every account. No credit card, not a trial. Re-enter ($79/mo) is optional and only for mock interviews and negotiation packs when you are in active loops.
What happens if I cancel Re-enter?
You return to free Premium when your paid period ends. Nothing is deleted: your vault, Practice progress, and Coach access stay exactly as they were.
Can I do everything on the free tier?
Yes. Full Coach, Practice depth, Go Live voice, Hall of Marks, and 50 AI runs per day. Re-enter only adds mock interviews, negotiation packs, and higher daily limits.
What is the Hall of Marks?
An opt-in weekly craft board. Pseudonyms only. Your private craft ledger stays private unless you opt in. Rankings reset each week · no forever boards.
Privacy & security
Can you read my files?
No. Your master password never leaves your device. It derives an encryption key locally, and vault contents are encrypted in the browser before they sync. We store ciphertext only. We also cannot recover a lost master password.
What data do you store?
Account email, authentication session, vault salt (for key derivation), cohort pacing, pseudonym, check-ins, daily actions, learning goals, experience level, weekly rhythm, mission completion, confidence ratings, board posts, chat messages, reel metadata, partner access keys, billing tier, and product analytics. Vault file contents are encrypted and we cannot read them.
Do you sell my data?
No. There is no browsable candidate database. Revenue comes from optional Re-enter subscriptions and Caliber org seats · not your data.
How do I export or delete my data?
Export and delete are available in Account settings. For GDPR/CCPA-style requests, email hello@martori.studio with the subject line "Privacy request."
AI & Coach
Does Datum rewrite my resume with AI?
No. Proof helps you choose evidence and check whether a claim is supported. You write every resume bullet yourself. We do not generate generic AI copy and pass it off as yours.
What does the AI receipt show?
Every Coach answer shows what was sent to the AI, what stayed on your device, and what you should verify. You decide before anything is saved as proof.
What happens when AI is unavailable?
Deterministic guidance and saved local data remain usable. Datum identifies built-in guidance when it is not an AI response.
Career transition
Is Datum a job board?
No. There is no browsable candidate database. Partners only see what a handshake key you create allows. We help you build proof and direction, not spray applications.
Who is Datum for?
Students, career switchers, and working professionals moving into software, AI applications, data, automation, or related technical roles. Also for people navigating a layoff and rebuilding at their own pace.
How does progression work?
Practice feeds evidence. Coach helps you narrate. Proof packs what you own. Rest still counts · no streak clocks.
Employers & Caliber
How do Caliber seats work?
HR or EAP creates a Caliber org and allocates seats to affected employees. Employees enter Datum on Stabilize pacing. When ready, they issue time-bound vault keys. Partners never browse. Program leads see opt-in aggregate outcomes only.
Can employers see my vault?
Only if you issue them a handshake key. Keys are time-bound, revocable, and every access is logged. There is no searchable database.
